T.J Cloutier
T.J Cloutier born Thomas James Cloutier is a legend in poker terms. He has won over 60 major poker tournaments all across the world and he has collected a massive 6 bracelets from the World Series of Poker. Cloutier is thought to be one of the best poker players ever to live.
It was in the army that Cloutier discovered a passion for poker. After he served in the army, Cloutier went on to play football professionally for the Allouettes in Montreal. Unfortunately he suffered a knee injury which went on to force him out of the game for good. He worked at the family business until it went under back in 1976. While working on an oil rig, and still playing poker, Cloutier realised that he could make more money playing poker than he ever could in a regular job.
Cloutier turned to playing poker full time and went on to win many events and made many cashes. Even though he has played in the World Series of poker numerous times, he still hasn’t managed to win the title for himself.
Cloutier was inducted into the coveted poker hall of fame back in 2006 for his flair and his amazing winnings totalling over 9 million dollars. He has also penned 4 books with Tom McEvoy all about playing and winning at poker. He also writes for poker magazines.
Cloutier is a genius and a well respected poker player – something only some of us can dream about.
