Here’s the follow on from our previous clip coverage of this years world series of poker Main event. This video is still on day 6, and sees the tournaments last true ‘big name player’ Mike Matusow exit the competition in 30th place. He gets a little unlucky as he makes three of a kind aces against snead with a full house (aces full), but that’s the way the cards fall!

Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow is a three time winner of World Series of Poker tournament bracelets and he is also the winner of the 2005 WSOP Tournament of champions! In that competition alone he netted an amazing $1 million, to add to the million he earned earlier in the year for his ninth place at the main event.
He started playing poker when he worked as a dealer in a casino. It was at this casino that he learned how to play poker properly. He came second in the World Series of Poker tournament in 1997 narrowly missing out on the coveted title of champion. He won his first WSOP bracelet in 1999 and his fist major victory on the poker scene.
While he seems to specialise in the Omaha Hi/Lo poker games, he can also play pretty darn well at Hold’em poker too. He got to the final table in the WSOP twice; in 2001 and also in 2005. He has gone from strength to strength in his poker game and people now believe he is at his all time best when playing poker.
He is a naturally aggressive player and wants to win at any costs. He has a nickname, which many people believe sums him up perfectly – ‘the mouth’. He uses his mouth to not only wear down his opponents, but also to keep himself in the game mentally.
