Whilst dredging through the internet, I can across this amusing clip somebody has put together, featuring all of the different James Bonds from over the years playing poker. The clip has been edited to look like they are playing in the same game and it is pretty amusing. I’m sure it is a game of poker that would get one hell of an audience (and probably a huge pot as a result!).
If you’re a fan of James Bond, who is no stranger to a game of poker or two, you should enjoy this little bit of fun:-

Its not just ‘real’ games of poker we like to watch- the odd dramatisation can be fun to watch too. In this clip from an episode of Eastenders, Ronnie and Jack have a high stakes game which gets the whole of the Queen Vic pub watching from the edge of their seat. For those of you outside the UK, or who missed the clip, here it is again!

Although the credibility of the scenario is questionable (Jack gets the jacks, both have two separate four of a kind’s) and the reality is that odds of this are incredibly unlikely, you should still agree it makes for entertaining watching! If you know of any other clips of poker on famous tv shows and can provide us with a copy or a link to it, please let us know so we can share it with all of our readers!

Johnny Chan
Chan became a professional poker player after he moved to Las Vegas from Houston. Chan is originally from Canton in China, but his family moved to the U.S for a better chance at a good life. It was in Houston that they lived and worked until Chan was 21. He dropped out of school and came to live in Las Vegas where he remains to this day.
Chan has actually inspired poker hands in movies! The hand he played in the final of the WSOP in 1988 is featured as the main event in the Hollywood movie ‘Rounders’. Chan has also won the World Series of Poker in 1987, making him a winner twice in two years!
Chan to this date has an incredible 10 WSOP bracelets and is tied with Doyle Brunson for the player with the most WSOP bracelets. His winnings at the moment are over a massive amount of $4 million! This figure will be set to rise as he continues to this day to play and win in many poker competitions.
Chan loves to intimidate people at the same poker table. He feels it improves and psyches out the other players perfectly. As he is one of the poker circuits’ most legendary players; you would have thought that was intimidation enough!
Here’s a couple of videos of him! Here he iswith a huge laydown:-
And this is the clip of Johnny Chan in action that is immortalised in the file rounders:-
